BRONZEVILLE RENTALS (Chicago 60653, 60615)
I haven’t analyzed the Bronzeville rental market
in several months. I haven’t been able to update
my blog very often. It has been a busy summer
season in Bronzeville. As prices bottomed, the
multi-unit market heated up and bank-owned
properties were getting multiple offers all summer.
But, now that the summer is winding down,
I will return my focus to Bronzeville rentals.
If you rent a Bronzeville condo, it will give you
at least a year to become familiar with the area.
The Bronzeville area is still in redevelopment stage.
But, it already has a lot to offer. An increasing
amount of restaurants and businesses are coming
to the area. There are plans to add a new grocery
store (and development) near 39th and State.
Bronzeville real estate values should also benefit
from its proximity to Hyde Park, the University
of Chicago, and IIT.
BRONZEVILLE RENTALS
According to the MLS, as of AUG-27-2009,
there are 71 condos for rent in the Bronzeville area.
The average rental is a 3 bed/2 bath unit renting for roughly $1,600 per month.
The condos typically have central air. They also
have a microwave, dishwasher, and a Washer and
Dryer in the unit. Some units include one parking space.
